- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
HITC understands that Chelsea have been working to try and convince Victor Osimhen to agree to a move to Stamford Bridge ahead of the summer window, as they fear rival interest.
The Nigerian forward has been setting the Serie A alight with Napoli since 2020, scoring a whopping 67 goals in 119 games for the Italian side.
This, of course, has led to major interest from numerous clubs around Europe and the Premier League.
But where will the 25-year-old end up? He already knows his next decision, whether that be with Napoli or in a move elsewhere.

Which clubs are interested in Victor Osimhen?
HITC Sources understand that alongside Chelsea, Arsenal have Victor Osimhen on their radar, whilst Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have been long-term admirers of the Nigerian superstar and could not be ruled out of making a move.
Barcelona are also amongst his admirers – but whether they could broker a deal of over £100m this summer, looks difficult.
Osimhen, signed his new deal at Napoli over Christmas, which installed a release clause that can be utilised this summer. But, he could also stay put.
Victor Osimhen on his future
The forward told CBS on Tuesday about his future in a live interview, where Osimhen stated that he already knows the next step in his career. He said:
“The rumour is going around about me joining the Premier League. When you are one of the hottest strikers on the globe you expect this type of thing.
“The EPL is one of the biggest and best leagues in the world. Now I am with Napoli… But I already made up my mind. I already know what I want to do with my career. I already know the next decision I want to take.
“For now I want to finish the season strong, relax with my daughter, think about my life and then come out with the decision I have already made.”
Where will he end up? It’s unclear as to now, but what looks apparent is Osimhen could be on the move in the summer, and best believe that will be a big money one.
