HITC Football understands West Ham United and Manchester City have agreed terms over the loan of England midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
West Ham manager David Moyes has been pushing to bring Phillips to the club, as HITC revealed, and now The Hammers have agreed terms of a loan deal with City.

The Hammers have agreed to meet Phillips’s wage of £160,000-a-week – which will make him the him the highest paid player at the club – as confirmed by HITC earlier this week.
Phillips has been away with City at their warm weather training camp in Abu Dhabi – but he is now on his way to London for his medical ahead of his move.
West Ham agree option
City and West Ham have also agreed an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.
The move ends a long chase for West Ham and Moyes, who tried to sign Phillips in the summer of 2022 before his £42million move to the Etihad.
West Ham have seen off interest from the likes of Newcastle and Juventus – both of whom refused to meet City’s demands – to land Phillips, who departs City having made just two league starts for the club.
Moyes is confirmed admirer
Moyes has previously revealed his liking for the former Leeds man and will be delighted to be getting his man.
“I’m a big admirer of Kalvin Phillips and have been for a long time. Every time I went to watch Leeds, and when I was out of work and they won the Championship, I was always thinking he looked a really influential player and a real prospect,” Moyes said before Phillips left Leds.
I think he has stepped up really quickly, I think he got into the England squad when maybe other people were suggested in front of him but I think he’s done well.”
