- EXCLUSIVE with Graeme Bailey
HITC Football understands that a number of Premier League clubs remain keen on signing FC Copenhagen forward Roony Bardghji.
Roony Bardghji netted the winning goal for FC Copenhagen against Manchester United to win 4-3 over Erik ten Hag’s men and it was that goal that got the Danish side into the last-16 of the Champions League.
As a result, Bardghji is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in Scandinavia and his progress has been closely followed by some of Europe’s top clubs.
A move away from the Danish side in the January transfer window is a possibility and there are a queue of clubs who are understood to be keen on the winger.

Host of Premier League clubs keen
It is our understanding that Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are one of the sides who are keen on signing the 18-year-old forward.
Copenhagen are ready to do business this month – but are demanding at least £20 million for their prized asset and they would ideally also like to keep him for the rest of the season.
Sources have confirmed to HITC Football that Bardghji has been in England over the Christmas period for commercial reasons but talks did progress with intermediaries during his stay in the United Kingdom.
HITC Football also understands that Aston Villa, Brentford, United and Newcastle United are amongst those to have been spoken to about the Swedish forward’s availability.
Interest from Europe
Bardghji may well be attracting interest from Premier League clubs but sources have also confirmed that several sides from around Europe are also keeping tabs on the teenage sensation.
The likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Napoli have expressed an interest in the FC Copenhagen forward who has netted seven times in the Danish league in 17 games.
His one goal in the Champions League this season was certainly a vital one to securing their place in the knockout stages of Europe’s elite competition where they will face Manchester City.
Whether Bardghji will remain in Denmark past the January window is unclear and there is certainly interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
