Tottenham Hotspur duo Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez could jet out to Turkey tonight as the Premier League misfits prepare to join Galatasaray.

After the Colombian centre-back agreed on an initial three-year contract at Galatasaray, that missed penalty in the Carabao Cup defeat to Fulham last week – one trophy drought-ending route closing for Ange Postecoglou – looks almost certain to be his final kick of the ball in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt.

According to Sporx, Davinson Sanchez could board a flight to Turkey tonight with a move to the Super Lig challengers seemingly only a matter of time. Sanchez, meanwhile, could find himself sitting across the aisle from another big-money signing who struggled to live up to his lofty price tag in North London.

Tanguy Ndombele, Sporx adds, has agreed terms with Galatasaray. This most enigmatic of midfielders recently turned his nose up at Genoa due to his desire to play Champions League football. Galatasaray’s offer is understandably a lot more tempting; Okan Buruk’s side securing their place in the group-stage via a 5-3 aggregate victory over Norwegian outfit Molde.

He too could undergo a medical at Galatasaray after touching down in the capital alongside Sanchez.

The report does not share how much Tottenham could bring in via the potential sales of Ndombele and Sanchez.

£13 million could be enough to snare the latter; Spurs accepting a bid from Spartak Moscow before negotiations collapsed. Either way, Postecoglou’s side are set to make a massive loss on two players who cost them a combined £99 million. Two players have come to represent little more than a drain on Postecoglou’s resources.

“Ndombele (has been) a disappointment,” former Newcastle and Crystal Palace midfielder Darren Ambrose tells Sky Sports, summing up the feelings of his fellow Tottenham supporters about a player who promised so much but delivered less than Postman Pat with a nasty hangover.

“The money they spent on him, it’s an absolute disaster.”

Ange Postecoglou spoke warmly about Ndombele after taking over at Tottenham earlier in the summer. That optimism soon gave way to familiar feelings of frustration, however; The Athletic reporting that the former Celtic boss has been ‘unimpressed’ with Ndombele’s attitude or his timekeeping.

Sporx, meanwhile, say that Galatasaray have prepared licences for both Sanchez and Ndombele. Tonight, after all, is their final chance to register new players for the Champions League group-stages.
