Jermaine Pennant says the claims that Tottenham Hotspur have pulled out of wanting Julian Nagelsmann to be their next manager is ‘crazy’.
Every week, Tottenham either manage to maintain their ‘circus’-like ways or make matters worse.
Well, the recent rumblings or going-ons at Spurs suggest that they have decided against making Julian Nagelsmann being their next coach – Ex-Chelsea boss, Graham Potter is being tipped, as a result.

One of the brightest young coaches in world football, with a forward-thinking philosophy and someone whose sacking at Bayern Munich many deemed very harsh, isn’t wanted by Tottenham?! It was previously suggested that he really wanted the Spurs job.
Daniel Levy might be able to pull the wool over Harry Kane’s eyes by still having him at the club, despite Spurs not matching his ambitions, but he’s not going to do that with the fans.
The word ‘circus’ was used by Pennant when talking about Tottenham’s situation and the recent rumours about Nagelsmann, as he told talkSPORT.
“It’s baffling,” said Pennant. “It’s crazy to think, at one stage, it was all over the back pages that he is the front runner to be the next Spurs manager. He is having talks.
“Now, they are saying ‘he’s not the right fit’. When I hear Spurs now all I can here is (proceeds to sing circus music). It’s like a circus there, at the minute. From top to bottom.
“If not Nagelsmann, who are they going to get that will help them win trophies?”

TOTTENHAM WOULD HAVE BEEN LUCKY TO GET NAGELSMANN
Given Tottenham’s current situation, they would be lucky to get a man like Nagelsmann through their doors.
Therefore, it’s pretty baffling when the German ticks all the boxes of what Spurs want, those in the boardroom seemingly don’t want him.
It’s pretty clear that the PR machine at Hotspur Way is working in full flow here and they are making others believe that they don’t want Nagelsmann when it’s clear that Daniel Levy isn’t willing to accept such high demands from the trophy-winning coach.
