Rebecca Tavares, the wife of Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has now given an insight into whether her husband could be set for a summer exit
It has been recently reported that Jurgen Klopp’s side could sell the £43.7 million (Sky Sports) man ahead of next season, whose dip in form has been slated by many, including Mark Lawrenson, who described him as ‘poor’ in recent memory as well as Dietmar Hamann.
Now, Rebecca Tavares, the wife of Fabinho has dropped a huge hint over whether her other half could indeed be preparing himself for an exit from Liverpool in 2023.
Fabinho wife hints at whether he could exit Liverpool in the summer
Ultimately, there is no disputing the fact that the Brazilian international’s form has fallen off a cliff this campaign, with Jamie Carragher describing him as a ‘ghost’ against Leeds United earlier in the season.
While the exit rumours continue to pile up about Fabinho potentially departing Liverpool, his wife replied to a tweet suggesting he could depart with a GIF, as shared by LFC Transfer Room that read, ‘Oh dear God.’

If that does not clear the air, what will?
Should Liverpool get rid of the midfielder in the summer?
While Fabinho has been in shocking tough throughout the season, it seems as if Liverpool will keep hold of him, as hinted by his wife, which is a smart decision instead of simply approving his exit after a poor campaign.
Currently, the club only have one other defensive midfielder in their ranks in Stefan Bajcetic, who is an extremely young player and has plenty of developing to do himself.
Furthermore, the former Monaco man has been an elite No.6 for years and while the red flag remains that his legs seem to be gone, it would be much wiser to persist with him, while also bringing in another player who could potentially even succeed him.
