Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could sell defensive midfielder Fabinho in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror.
Liverpool could sell Fabinho
The report has claimed that Fabinho leaving Liverpool at the end of the season is “a possibility”.
The £180,000-a-week (SalarySport) Brazil international is under contract at the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners until the summer of 2026.
The 29-year-old has been on the books of Liverpool since 2018.
Should Liverpool sell the Brazilian?
In our view, Liverpool should think carefully before deciding to sell Fabinho at the end of the season.

Yes, the Brazilian is not having the best of seasons, but he is a very good and experienced player.
And he is still only 29.
There is no way that Fabinho is past his prime.
Yes, Liverpool need to make their midfield better and could do with signing a couple of new and younger players in the summer of 2023, but they have to make sure that they can replace the Brazilian straightaway and are good enough to do so.
It would make sense for the Reds to keep the midfielder for another season while bringing in another player in his position to cover themselves.
