According to the latest information provided by Jeunes Footeux, Brighton & Hove Albion are now interested in making a move for Charles De Ketelaere, who reportedly has been offered to Newcastle United in a potential summer switch.

The 21-year-old, who has been compared to Kevin De Bruyne by Roberto Mancini via Sempre Milan has struggled during his debut season in an AC Milan shirt. With no goal and just 1 assist for Milan this campaign, the attacking midfielder has underwhelmed so far.

So much so that now Brighton are exploring a potential transfer for Charles De Ketelaere, who has been offered to Newcastle United.

Brighton keen on Newcastle-linked Charles De Ketelaere

Ultimately, both clubs could do with the Belgian international’s addition, as he was one of Europe’s finest creators at Club Brugge, with even Leeds United once reportedly aching to sign him.

However, Jeunes Footeux has indeed reported that Brighton are ‘interested’ in a transfer for Charles De Ketelaere, who has reportedly only recently been offered to Newcastle for a £26 million fee.

It has been mentioned that a possible way the youngster could be moved on is on loan, as AC Milan understand that not many suitors would be keen on paying an immediate fee.

Newcastle should let Brighton sign him

Considering Newcastle have been linked with a more established No.10 in James Maddison, who could they sign on a relatively inexpensive fee as well as he is the final year of his contract, they should let Brighton sign Charles De Ketelaere next season.

Ultimately, it seems likely that World Cup winner, Alexis Mac Allister, who is also one of the side’s biggest creative outlets could reportedly on his way out of the club in the summer, which would make the young technician a solid, if not spectacular replacement for the Argentine.
