A smiling Stefan Bajcetic was quizzed about how he feels upon hearing a club legend’s high praise, as he replied, “Well, he’s Mo [Mohamed] Salah, so! He’s probably one of the best players ever in Liverpool history and so, it’s nice to hear a legend say that to me.”

Stefan Bajcetic is worthy of all the high praise

The Spaniard, who has also previously drawn high praise from Jamie Carragher and Alan Shearer has been a revelation since being blooded into the side and he perhaps had his finest ever game in the Merseyside Derby.

Operating just in front of Fabinho as the left-sided central midfielder, Stefan Bajcetic ran the show for Liverpool against Everton, which left not just Mohamed Salah but every observer feeling awestruck.

The Reds have a good one on their hands to say the least.
