Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool have been told that Ansu Fati is not for sale as the Premier League trio target the Barcelona wonderkid.
What’s the story?
Well, it was Fabrizio Romano who claimed that Mikel Arteta and Jürgen Klopp are both interested in signing the Spain international.
Elsewhere, Spanish outlet La Vanguardia claimed that Spurs are keeping tabs on Fati.
Now, however, Xavi has poured cold water on the Premier League trio’s chances of signing the 20-year-old.
As quoted by Fabrizio Romano, the 43-year-old said: “Ansi Fati is not for sale, as everyone else right now. It’s not time to speak about transfers. I trust Ansu Fati for present and future, he’s our player.”
The Barcelona No.10 has only made seven starts in La Liga this season following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski, leading many to question whether one of the brightest to emerge from La Masia has a future at the Camp Nou.
However, Xavi clearly remains a big fan of Fati, judging by his comments about the situation.
Arsenal, Tottenham & Liverpool surely have no chance of signing Fati
In our view, the Gunners, Spurs and the Reds have no chance of signing the Spaniard unless he demands an exit from Barcelona.
Fati has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or one day, and Barcelona will surely begin to hand him some more starts soon as Lewandowski turns 35 in August – as effective as he is right now, the Poland international will surely start to wane soon.

Furthermore, the Bissau-born sensation is contracted to the Spanish giants until June 2027, which puts them in a very strong negotiating position amid interest in their young starlet.
Hopefully, Fati can work his way into the starting XI on a regular basis, and follow in the footsteps of other La Masia graduates such as Andres Iniesta, Xavi and Lionel Messi.
