As per a report by Juve Live, Juventus are worried that after Jesse Marsch was sacked by Leeds United, the club may be unwilling to pay the £35 million (ESPN) fee to sign Weston McKennie on a permanent basis, who has been initially signed on loan.

After all, it was recently reported before the USA international’s arrival at Elland Road that the 49-year-old picked the box-to-box midfielder as his go-to-signing instead of the World Cup’s breakout star, Azzedine Ounahi.

As a result, Juventus are naturally worried that Leeds may refuse to pay the £35 million to sign the ‘aggressive’ loan arrival, Weston McKennie in a permanent transfer.

With the Whites failing to get a single win in the Premier League since November, it comes as no surprise that the former RB Leipzig manager was given the marching orders.

As Robbie Musto stated, this could be a worry for Weston McKennie, as is the case Juventus at Juventus as well, as it was Jesse Marsch who was keen on the 24-year-old’s coup ‘above all’, as reported by Juve Live.

Now, there is a sense of ‘panic’ within the Juve camp, as they are increasingly concerned that the American coach’s departure could now ‘jeopardise’ what was seemingly a ‘done deal’.

All depends on who the next Leeds manager is

Ultimately, the Bianconeri loanee remains an extremely talented midfielder, who also happens to share a brilliant connection with Tyler Adams on the pitch, which could aid the next manager of the club.

As a result, if the new man at the Leeds United helm fancies Weston McKennie, just like Jesse Marsch did, Juventus have nothing to be worried about with regards to taking home a sizable fee.

For the polar opposite to be the case, the Italian champions will have to wait and watch.
