Sky Germany have reported that Callum Hudson-Odoi, who was recently linked with a transfer to Arsenal eyes a return to Chelsea next season from his loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen.
On Wednesday, it was claimed that Mikel Arteta’s side were ‘tracking’ the 22-year-old, after it was stated that the Blues were looking to offload a number of players in the summer.
However, it seems as if Callum Hudson-Odoi, once described as an ‘outstanding talent’ by Michael Ballack (via Fotmob) has no plans to sign for Arsenal like Jorginho, as he believes his future lies at Chelsea.
Callum Hudson-Odoi interested in Chelsea return after loan spell instead of Arsenal move
The transfer speculation certainly added up, as the English winger has merely become a squad player since his meteoric rise in the West Londoners’ first-team. With the Gunners being the best team in the country as things stand, being tempted to sign for them would be understandable for the £120,000-a-week gem.

But instead, Callum Hudson-Odoi ‘definitely’ aims to return to Chelsea after his loan stint at Leverkusen comes to an end, instead of leaving the club for elsewhere, which seemingly includes Arsenal, as per Sky Germany.
However, there remain question marks over whether the youngster’s boyhood club would be as keen on keeping him, as he has failed to impress in Germany, where there are no signs that his loan transfer could be extended or a permanent swoop is in the works.
Not a worry for Arsenal
While Chelsea wideman Callum Hudson-Odoi remains a huge talent, regardless of how underwhelming his loan spell has been so far, Arsenal will likely be unbothered by this latest development.
After all, the club are well-stocked in the wide areas, with Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli setting things alight this season, while Leandro Trossard already looks the part.
If Callum Hudson-Odoi does end up returning to Chelsea from his loan spell, Arsenal can simply look elsewhere for more in-form targets as well.
