Tottenham now want to sign Celtic and Rangers target Oscar GloukhAntonio Conte is said to be monitoring the Maccabi Tel Aviv wonderkid.

What’s the story?

Well, Spurs are said to have scouted the Israel international along with some of Europe’s very best sides – according to Israeli news outlet ONE.

Barcelona, Roma, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Feyenoord, PSV Eindhoven, Real Sociedad, Marseille, Monaco and Benfica are also interested in signing Gloukh, in addition to Celtic and Rangers.

It was The Sun who revealed that Rangers want to sign the 18-year-old sensation.

Elsewhere, it was Sport5 who claimed that Celtic want Gloukh in Glasgow.

The teenager has alerted Europe’s elite sides with some stunning performances for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Gloukh has scored six goals while also providing six assists in 21 appearances across all competitions this season, while he also got a taste of European football by playing in the UEFA Europa Conference League playoffs.

ONE believe Maccabi Tel Aviv recently tied their No.11 down to a new long-term contract with the intention of selling him for a significant fee.

Shahar Greenberg – Gloukh’s agent – has also spoken about his client’s future, claiming that his “real value” is just €6m (£5m).

Sport5 quote Greenberg as saying: “His real value is a little more than 6 million euros. The question is where he will go. Maccabi Tel Aviv will also agree to sell him for less if it is to a club that can develop him. So that, in the future, Maccabi will have a percentage of a future sale.”

Tottenham, Celtic & Rangers must bid

In our view, Tottenham, Celtic and Rangers must get bidding for Gloukh while his price tag remains so low.

The teenager has already won two caps for Israel – scoring one goal – and if he keeps this level of performance up, that £5m price tag will surely double or triple in no time.

Especially in Tottenham’s case, a £5m asking price is nothing, and the potential benefits of signing a prospect such as Gloukh far outweigh the negatives of taking a £5m gamble.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Europe’s elite sides target the teenage starlet.
