Arsenal and Tottenham target Leandro Trossard has hit the headlines for his antics at Brighton.
It was Alex Crook of talkSPORT who claimed that Mikel Arteta is interested in the Belgium international.
Elsewhere, Tottenham are said to have made contact with Brighton over a deal for Trossard – according to 90min.
So, what has happened now? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, respected journalist Graeme Bailey believes Brighton are “shocked” at how their No.11 has behaved recently.
Roberto De Zerbi told the media earlier today that Trossard had walked out of training after being told he would not be playing against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, and also will not be in the squad to face Liverpool on Saturday.
The Italian said it is “no problem” if the Belgian wants to find a new club, and called on the attacker to improve his attitude if he wants to stay at the Amex Stadium.
Sky Sports quote De Zerbi as saying: “Leandro isn’t in the list of the players for tomorrow. The last training session before the Middlesbrough game, when he understood he wouldn’t play, he left the session without saying anything to me and it’s not good.
“I don’t know about the transfer market, if he wants to change teams or not. It’s not my problem. I’m a coach, only a coach and the first eleven, while I am the coach, I will decide.”
Arsenal should leave Trossard to Tottenham
In our view, Arsenal should leave Trossard to Tottenham as they close in on Mykhaylo Mudryk.

Arteta has been forced to wait for his project to take off as he weeds out disruptive players such as Mesut Özil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Therefore, it would make no sense whatsoever to bring in Trossard, who clearly has attitude problems of his own.
Furthermore, the Gunners do not exactly have much need for the Belgian with Mudryk seemingly close to arriving, so he would most likely sit on the bench.
Having said that, be sure to keep an eye on Trossard’s situation, as anything could happen.
