Kevin Hatchard says West Ham United, Everton and Southampton transfer target Terem Moffi ‘deserves’ a move to the Premier League.
The European football expert added that Moffi, who plays for Ligue 1 side Lorient, is a ‘nightmare’ for defenders, with the likes of West Ham United, Everton and Southampton all showcasing interest in the player.
All three clubs are struggling near the bottom of the table, with Southampton sitting bottom, Frank Lampard’s Everton facing another relegation battle, whilst David Moyes is trying to turn around West Ham’s sinking ship despite previous European finishes.

Moffi has ten goals in 16 Ligue 1 games this season, including scoring during Lorient’s 2-1 defeat to PSG before the World Cup and during his side’s win against Lyon at the start of the campaign.
It’s understandable why Everton, Southampton and West Ham are looking at the player because they need firepower and what they do this month could prove to be crucial in their quest to survive.
Nonetheless, European football expert Hatchard shared his thoughts on the 23-year-old and what type of player he is, as he told The Transfer Show on Sky Sports News.
“He has done really well in a Lorient side that is not particularly heralded, although, they have done better than people expected this season,” said Hatchard. “He has double figures already. Scored against PSG fairly recently. He is somebody who is a nightmare for defenders.
“He runs in-behind. He gets on the end of crosses. He has a few caps for Nigeria. And somebody who has had quite an interesting career. He went to Lithuania for a bit and Belgium, so he has kind of been around the houses just getting those moves and moving up the ranks.
“A smart player that can bring others into play. I think he is certainly someone that would be exciting and deserves that move. He has been scoring goals against the odds for some time now.
“I will be surprised if the Saints are the only clubs interested. I know that interest has been there for a while. But this is somebody a lot of clubs have looked at for a long time.”

WILL MOFFI MOVE IN JANUARY?
In terms of finances, West Ham are probably in a stronger position, especially after spending big in the summer, it’s just a case of whether they will go again.
It’s a different story for Everton, who are under restrictions and will probably be hoping there isn’t much fight for Moffi’s goalscoring talents, that’s if they knock on Lorient’s door.
Whilst Southampton have gone down the younger route, they need that experience and know-how, or else, they will be returning to the Championship.
