Tottenham and Real Madrid target Josko Gvardiol was in action today on BBC Sport as Croatia defeated Brazil in the World Cup Quarter-Final.
The 20-year-old has received plenty of praise as a result of his commanding displays in Qatar, and more came his way during Croatia’s stunning victory over Brazil.
What’s the story?
Well, Corriere dello Sport believe Tottenham are interested in Gvardiol, and will step up their interest once the World Cup is over.
Elsewhere, it was Alfredo Pedulla who claimed Real Madrid are huge admirers of the central defender, and are willing to spend £78m to secure his signature.
Neither Tottenham or Real Madrid will have lost any interest in Gvardiol after today, as Croatia remarkably came from behind to beat Brazil on penalties, with the scoreline locked at 1-1 after 120 minutes.

Covering the World Cup Quarter-Final clash for BBC Radio 5 Live, Pat Nevin said: “Josko Gvardiol is a joy. It’s like watching a Rolls-Royce. That guy is brilliant.”
The 59-year-old added: “Richarlison is one of these guys that chases pigeons. He chases everything, but he’s not chasing Josko Gvardiol. You don’t get easy possession off these types of players.”
Tottenham & Real Madrid target shone against Brazil
Croatia looked down and out after Neymar put Brazil 1-0 up in extra-time of the World Cup Quarter-Final clash.
However, Gvardiol kept going, and it was his last ditch tackle on Fred in the second-half of extra-time which set Croatia up for the attack which led to their equaliser.
As FotMob shows, the RB Leipzig No.32 put in a colossal display, registering seven clearances, five recoveries, two blocks and one interception.
Gvardiol also showed off his excellent passing range by completing five of his attempted seven long-range passes.
Whatever happens to Croatia and Gvardiol in the Semi-Final, he has truly announced himself to the world.
