Report: Real Madrid are now becoming worried about Liverpool interest in £49,000-a-week man

Liverpool and Real Madrid both fought to sign Aurelien Tchouameni back in the summer, and they are now set to do battle again over Jude Bellingham.

According to Marca, those at the Santiago Bernabeu are determined to sign the £49,000-a-week man as they look to overhaul their iconic midfield of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, having already offloaded Casemiro.

Tchouameni has arrived at Real Madrid, as have Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde, although signing Bellingham may not be as simple – thanks to Liverpool.

Real Madrid worried about Liverpool

Well, the Spanish giants usually get whoever they want in the transfer market, although there are concerns about Liverpool beating them to Bellingham.

Marca believe Real Madrid view the Reds as a ‘great rival’ for the England international, and their pursuit of the 19-year-old has become very complicated because of Liverpool.

The Spanish news outlet add that Jürgen Klopp will not make it easy for Carlo Ancelotti to sign Bellingham, and there has already been contact with the midfielder’s representatives to convince him to move to Anfield.

It comes after ESPN revealed that Liverpool are leading the race to sign the teenager.

Interest in Bellingham has intensified this season as the Borussia Dortmund No.22 adds goals to his game.

The Birmingham-born sensation has already scored nine goals from midfield this term, including four goals in four Champions League games.

Real Madrid have more to worry about than Liverpool

In addition to Liverpool, Real Madrid should also be wary of another Premier League giant – Chelsea.

According to Bild, the Blues have already made contact with Bellingham’s entourage, with Todd Boehly prepared to pay the £129m asking price and also offer the midfielder £326,923-a-week.

Chelsea are in a fantastic position – both financially and competitively – to sign the Englishman, so Real Madrid and Liverpool should be wary of what those at Stamford Bridge are capable of in the transfer market.
