Arsenal want Jesper Lindstrom but now face competition from Borussia Dortmund in the race for the Eintracht Frankfurt star.
The Gunners will surely be in the market for a wide player in January.
Nicolas Pepe was loaned out to Nice before the summer deadline and Arsenal didn’t bring in a replacement.
Injuries to Emile Smith Rowe and now Bukayo Saka have shown that Arsenal may need another wide option, even if Reiss Nelson and Marquinhos have chipped in.

Arsenal want Jesper Lindstrom
Arsenal appear to fancy a versatile option in Eintracht Frankfurt star Jesper Lindstrom.
Calciomercato claim that Arsenal fancy Lindstrom and Bild are backing that up, suggesting that Arsenal could launch a £17million move.
That Bild report even claimed that Arsenal have already started talks with Lindstrom’s agents.
Lindstrom has shown remarkable versatility this season, playing as an attacking midfielder, right winger and even left winger under Oliver Glasner.
The 22-year-old has been outstanding, bagging five goals in 11 Bundesliga games for Frankfurt this term.
Arsenal may feel that Lindstrom can cover both wide spots and offer competition for Granit Xhaka in that advanced midfield role.
Yet if Edu and Mikel Arteta thought they would be in the clear for this signing, they are very much mistaken.
Bild now claim that Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have joined the race to sign Lindstrom.
It’s stated that £17million will no longer do as Frankfurt have hiked up their asking price to around €30million (£26million).
Lindstrom, 22, has gone from strength to strength since joining Frankfurt from Brondby back in 2021 and has been hailed as a ‘huge talent’ by teammate Kevin Trapp.
£26million may be a price increase but it would still be cheaper than another one of Arsenal’s targets, Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The versatility, the price tag, the production and the versatility all make Lindstrom very appealing and whilst both Dortmund and Leipzig offer competition, Arsenal may still fancy their chances here.
