PSV Eindhoven could now reportedly sell midfielder Ibrahim Sangare instead of Leeds United target Cody Gakpo today, with Chelsea already in talks to sign the Ivory Coast international.
According to Voetbal International, the Dutch giants will look to sell one of they key players on deadline day as PSV look to recoup some funds, with Sangare now potentially on the chopping block despite recently signing a new contract, with Chelsea in discussions to sign the midfielder.
Gakpo has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the last few days with Arsenal, Everton, Leeds and Southampton all believed to be chasing the 23-year-old winger today, however, Chelsea could foil all of these plans should they sign PSV’s midfield ‘destroyer’ Sangare, as per Voetbal International.
One of the best midfielders in the Eredivisie and a player who has been linked with a Premier League move before even signing for PSV, Sangare moving to Chelsea at this stage of the window could throw a lot of doubt over Gakpo’s move to the Premier League, something Leeds supporters will be fuming about ahead of the deadline.
Chelsea can ruin a lot of plans by signing Sangare today

Gakpo has been one of the most talked about players all summer with the Dutch international linked with almost a quarter of the Premier League and looking primed to move to England, yet all of this can now change should Chelsea sign Sangare so late in the window.
After all, PSV will not want to sell two of their key players before the deadline, and should Chelsea work fast enough to get a deal done for Sangare, the likes of Leeds and Southampton could now miss out on Gakpo in what would be a huge blow for either Premier League side.
