Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter on Friday morning that Frank Lampard wants to raid Wolves and lure midfielder Leander Dendoncker to Everton. A potential cut-price deal could be arranged for the Belgian ace.
Dendoncker, 27, is now in the final 12 months out of his contract at Molineux. That is, after shining for the Midlands club over the last four seasons, whether that is in the middle of the defence, on the right or in central midfield.

The 29-time Belgium international may have to be sold this summer if he does not want to sign a new contract. Indeed, Wolves will have to cash in if they want a fee for the ex-Anderlecht giant.
Romano reports that Dendoncker is a target for Everton and Toffees boss Frank Lampard. What could prove crucial in Everton’s move for the Wolves man, is that Wolves do have the option to extend Dendoncker’s deal by a year.
Romano: Lampard wants Wolves midfielder Dendoncker at Everton
Everton do have options in the middle of the park, but realistically, a couple could go. Allan has struggled during his time at Goodison Park and he may return to Serie A. Andre Gomes has also been linked with the exit door.
Dendoncker would be a superb signing. Not only does he give the Toffees some much-needed bite in midfield, but also he provides Everton with cover at centre-back. He could be a suprisingly cheap signing.
Bought at Wolves for just £12million (GOAL), his contract situation could see him go for a small-ish price. He is not the only midfielder on the Everton shortlist, with Chelsea’s Billy Gilmour also being lined-up on loan.
