Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to share exciting news for Leeds fans regarding Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams.

What’s the story?

Well, it has been a difficult summer for the Leeds supporters, who have been forced to watch their beloved Kalvin Phillips join Manchester City.

Raphinha is also set to depart Elland Road, adding salt to the wounds.

However, deals for Adams and Sinisterra are now very close – according to Romano – which should excite the Leeds supporters greatly.

The reliable Italian journalist believes a €25m (£21m) deal for Sinisterra has been agreed with Feyenoord, and the winger has already agreed personal terms with the Whites.

It comes after a £13m deal for Adams was agreed with RB Leipzig, so a double announcement in Yorkshire is even a possibility in the coming days.

Of course, supporters will presumably refrain from getting too excited due to the situations involving Phillips and Raphinha, although we are confident in saying that Adams and Sinisterra will prove to be fine replacements.

Last season, the Colombia international scored 23 goals in 49 appearances, while also providing 14 assists, as Feyenoord reached the UEFA Conference League final.

In regards to Adams, the American knows Jesse Marsch well, and has previously praised the 48-year-old, so we expect him to do well in Yorkshire.

Luis Sinisterra could outdo Raphinha at Leeds

As talented as Raphinha is, he’s never had a season like the campaign Sinisterra had last term.

The 23-year-old was utterly phenomenal in the Netherlands, and if he can replicate that form in the Premier League, his £21m price tag could even end up quadrupling in a year or two.

In our view, Sinisterra will be used slightly differently to how Raphinha was deployed.

The Brazilian often lined up on the right flank, where he could cut inside on his left foot, but the right-footed Colombian played exclusively on the left for Feyenoord last term.

Therefore, we think Jack Harrison will be used on the right, with Sinisterra cutting in from the left.
