Kylian Mbappe has told Tottenham transfer target, Angel Di Maria, that it was a ‘huge honour’ playing alongside him at PSG, as he posted on his Instagram story.

The 34-year-old is heading out of the Parc des Prince’s exit door in June when his contract expires, as Spurs are an interested party in his talents.

With Tottenham securing Champions League football on the final day of the Premier League season.

They will feel they can now lure some of the top talents to the club, and whilst Di Maria is at the back end of his career, he does fit the profile of player, in terms of experience, that Antonio Conte normally pushes for.

Either way, after Mbappe signed a new PSG contract, he issued this message, on his IG story, to Di Maria, as he is set to leave the club.

“Thank you legend,” said Mbappe. “It was a huge honour for me to play with you. I had so much fun.

“Wishing you and your family the best for the future.”

TOTTENHAM NOW HAVE A BIGGER TRANSFER POOL TO IMPROVE THEIR SQUAD

Tottenham now have two big lures when the summer transfer window opens – that’s Champions League football and the manager in their dugout.

The is now simply a case of Daniel Levy backing the man that has more than done his job this season.

In truth, given that Conte joined midway through the campaign, was he really expected to help Spurs to fourth?

Especially a team that many, including Spurs fans, were questioning, so if Levy doesn’t give Conte what he wants, then he really is the problem at the club.
