The Kylian Mbappe saga has come to an end and he will stay at PSG, but both Andy Gray and Richard Keys think Liverpool’s Sadio Mane could head to Real Madrid.
Ex-Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon claimed that the La Liga champions are looking to add a few more big players to their ranks, but in ‘ten days time’ – this was before Mbappe signed a new deal with PSG.
Calderon didn’t namedrop who Madrid are going to add to their ranks, but he was adamant that a few big names will join.
There is a lot of talk about Mane’s future at Liverpool, as well as his partner in crime, Mo Salah, who is yet to sign a new contract.
Both Keys and Gray, whilst speaking on their podcast, namedropped the duo as possible destinations to Madrid, following Calderon’s bombshell.
“Who’s the other player (on Calderon saying a few more big-name players will join Madrid),” asked Keys. “It must be another forward.”
Gray responded: “Well, he said in ten days. Does that suggest it will be a Champions League finalist? Liverpool? Mo Salah, you think? He said, you have to wait ten days. Maybe Neymar?
Keys added: “Why would you buy him? He hasn’t even shown it when it has really mattered. Mane?” Gray then responded: “Oh, Mane’s a shout. Anyway, it will be interesting.”
Keys then stated: “There was a lot of speculation about him going to Munich. But Jan Aage Fjortoft says ‘no, not happening’ – and he’s very rarely wrong. But Salah stays and Mane goes.”
Gray then claimed: “If it is, then it could be Real Madrid. For him to say, ‘not only were they about to invest £200 million in Mbappe’. But there might be ‘another couple of big signings coming in after ten days’.
“Well, that’s the Champions League final and it could only be Liverpool. If it is, then it could probably be Mane. Maybe we are ahead of the curve again?”

LIVERPOOL HAVE TO TIE DOWN MANE AND SALAH TO NEW DEALS
Salah’s current contract will be more of a worry to Liverpool fans because nothing has been signed yet – despite a lot talk about his future.
But, all this talk about their star players and their futures, is something the club need to sort out in the summer.
Both Mane and Salah’s status’ are hitting the roof because of what they are producing this season – winning a treble is in their hands.
But, with Mbappe staying at PSG, don’t rule out Madrid perhaps knocking on Liverpool’s doors because they will still want to sign that superstar player.
