Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has named Bukayo Saka as the one player he doesn’t want to leave Arsenal.

The Gunners have a number of talented players, but after seemingly missing out on next season’s Champions League, there’s a chance that their star men could be picked off.

Saka has himself been linked to both Manchester City and Liverpool, and while the winger is Arsenal through and through, he may well be tempted by a move to either of those clubs.

Seaman says he’s absolutely desperate for Saka to stay at Arsenal, stating that it would be a dagger in the heart if he left.

What’s been said?

Seaman spoke about keeping Saka at Arsenal.

“Which one player would you not like to lose?” Seaman was asked.

“One player? For me it would be Saka, it would be a real dagger in the heart of Arsenal, because he’s one of our own,” Seaman said.

May get his wish

Seaman wants Saka to stay at Arsenal, and it looks as though the winger may soon commit his future to the north London club.

Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, the youngster is set to hold talks with the Gunners over a new contract in the coming weeks, and the good news is that the recent Champions League disappointment won’t have much bearing on negotiations.

To be honest, it’s hard to see Saka leaving Arsenal at this point, he has a key role at a massive club under a manager who loves him, leaving all of that behind at the age of just 20 would be foolish.

Liverpool and City may come knocking, but it’s hard to see Saka ditching the Gunners anytime soon.
