Fabrizio Romano says the agent of Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has told him that he and his client have held talks with Arsenal regarding a summer move – and that the Brazil international is intrigued by a move.

Jesus, 25, is likely to be the only Manchester City player not particularly happy with the signing of Erling Haaland. The Norwegian wonderkid was confirmed as joining the club by City this week. He will be first choice.

It means Jesus, who is already in and out of the side under Pep Guardiola, needs to be considering his options. He is about to enter the final year of his contract. Arsenal are keen on a £35million move for Jesus.

Now, Romano has shared an update in an exclusive, that the agent of Jesus has told him Arsenal are one of seven clubs interested. Indeed, Jesus agent confirms Arsenal talks and is seemingly open to a move to the Emirates.

Good for Manchester City ace as Jesus agent confirms Arsenal talks?

It is a brilliant move for all parties – but only on one condition, if Arsenal qualify for the Champions League. They look good to do so, sitting four points clear of Tottenham. The two sides do battle on Thursday night.

Jesus is a top, top striker. One of Europe’s best – despite not playing week in, week out at City. He has had a hand in 25 goals this term. He deserves to be playing in the Champions League and he is perfect for Arsenal.
