Tottenham Hotspur have started showing an interest in Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma alongside his teammate Pau Torres.
Reports from the Daily Mail suggested that Tottenham were scouting Torres in Villarreal’s Champions League defeat to Liverpool.
Torres was a prime Tottenham target last summer and it looks like Fabio Paratici will go back in for him this summer.
Yet Torres isn’t the only target at Villarreal as 90Min claim that Tottenham also wanted to watch winger Danjuma against Liverpool.
Unfortunately for Tottenham, Danjuma was ruled out of the game through injury and Spurs weren’t able to see him in action.
This does though indicate that Tottenham are keen on signing Danjuma this summer as well as Torres.
Danjuma, 25, joined Villarreal from Bournemouth last season having missed out on promotion to the Premier League.
16 goals and four assists has been an impressive return from Danjuma, who has been playing as a winger or striker for Villarreal.
This comes just a day after the Daily Mail reported that Newcastle were ramping up their interest in signing Danjuma.
It’s also worth noting that Goal believe Liverpool see Danjuma as the ideal replacement for Sadio Mane in the long-term.
Tottenham will therefore face major competition for Danjuma if they make a move this summer but may feel they have a dangerous weapon in the race.

Tottenham midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is currently on loan Villarreal.
Lo Celso has no future with Antonio Conte at the helm and will likely be sold this summer.
Villarreal have been impressed with Lo Celso and would no doubt love to keep him, so that may open up the possibility of a part-exchange deal.
Tottenham may be able to give up big cash plus Lo Celso to secure both Torres and Danjuma in an exciting double swoop.
Danjuma would provide a versatile attacking option all across the Tottenham front line and we could see Spurs make a move – even if they couldn’t see him play on Tuesday.
