Back in August, Celtic completed the signing of Cameron Carter-Vickers from Tottenham on a season-long loan deal.
It has proven to be an inspired move, as the 24-year-old was named in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year following a stunning campaign in Glasgow.
Carter-Vickers has made 42 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals while also providing one assist as he proves himself to be a colossus for the Bhoys.
What’s the story?
Well, Spurs will surely be proud of their Academy graduate, who has arguably been the best defender in Scotland this season.
After all, Jan Vertonghen once called the 8-cap United States international an “absolute beast” – so nobody should be surprised by the American’s efforts.

Carter-Vickers has helped Ange Postecoglou and the Hoops sit top of the Scottish Premiership, six points ahead of Rangers with just four games remaining.
He is joined in the PFA Scotland Team of the Year by his Celtic teammates Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota, Callum McGregor and Tom Rogic.
Celtic set to take Cameron Carter-Vickers from Tottenham
Unsurprisingly, Celtic are very keen to sign Carter-Vickers on a permanent basis, following his heroics at Parkhead this season.
According to SBI Soccer, the Bhoys are now in advanced talks with Spurs, while Leicester, Wolves and Watford are also interested.
Tottenham are said to value the centre-back at £6m, but with add-ons taken into account, the deal could reach the £10m mark.

Should it go that high, Carter-Vickers would become Celtic’s club-record signing, which would be quite the achievement for him.
As things stand, their current club-record signing is Odsonne Edouard, who was signed from Paris Saint-Germain in a £9m deal back in June 2018.
It will be sad to see Carter-Vickers leave Tottenham after 13 years at Spurs, but the Celtic fans will be delighted to welcome him on a permanent basis.
