Liverpool remain interested in a possible move to sign RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi, but Sevilla have now begun working to secure a January transfer, as per Calciomercato.
Los Nervionenses are eager to edge the swarm of rival suitors clamouring for the 19-year-old’s services. With Inter Milan and RB Leipzig joining Liverpool in admiring Adeyemi.
The three-cap German international has put a number of top European outfits on alert as he continually thrives in Austria.

Adeyemi has already scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
Eleven of the teenager’s goals have come in just 13 outings in the Austrian Bundesliga, too. While netting three in four Champions League group stage ties, including a match-winning brace against Ligue 1 title-holders LOSC Lille.
Inter, Liverpool and RB Leipzig would each like to sign Adeyemi from RB Salzburg in a 2022 transfer window. But Sevilla have in recent hours begun to try their hand at a January deal.
Julen Lopetegui can offer Adeyemi a chance to contend for the La Liga title should he move to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. The Andalusian outfit sit third after 12 games, but are just a point behind leaders Real Sociedad, who have played one game more.

Should Liverpool ramp up Adeyemi pursuit to beat Sevilla to Jan transfer?
Prior reports by Sky Germany have claimed Liverpool could replicate their transfer for Naby Keita to ensure Jurgen Klopp brings Adeyemi to Anfield. With the Reds agreeing a deal with RB Salzburg in January, but the striker remaining in Austria until the summer.
Salzburg will surely be loath to lose their rising star of European football, who scored on his senior Germany debut. And as such, Sky Germany also note RB Leipzig’s sister club value him at around €30m-40m (£26m-34m) for next summer.
A price Liverpool may have to pay – or agree to – sooner if they are now to edge Sevilla to a transfer with RB Salzburg for Adeyemi. A striker they have been chasing for over a year.
He has also long drawn comparisons with Borussia Dortmund megastar Erling Haaland. But Adeyemi told Sport Buzzer he wanted to establish his own path, and is now doing just that.
“I don’t want to compare myself with him – I am me, and he is him,” Adeyemi said. “I try to do my best here and use the opportunities that are presented to me here.”
