Jack Wilshere has raved about Liverpool winger Harvey Elliott on talkSPORT (6:27pm, October 14, 2021).
The former Arsenal midfielder has said that he loves watching Liverpool winger Elliott.
Wilshere believes that the 18-year-old English teenager will come back stronger from his injury.
Jack Wilshere’s verdict
The Englishman said about Elliott on talkSPORT (6:27pm, October 14, 2021): “I really like Harvey Elliott. It is unfortunate he got injured, but he will come back from that.
“I really loved what he was doing at Liverpool. To get into that team in front of some of the players on the bench, I think that says a lot about him and what the manager thinks of him.”
A Liverpool gem
Elliott is on the sidelines at the moment after suffering a long-term injury against Leeds United earlier this season.
It was unfortunate for Elliott, as he had started to play regularly in manager Jurgen Klopp’s team.
The teenager was actually being deployed in midfield instead of out on the wing.
And he was doing well, earning praise from Liverpool manager Klopp, pundits, teammates and fans alike.
It remains to be seen when the former Fulham youngter is back in action, but we all hope that it is sooner rather than later.
We love watching Elliott in action.
It is always great to see young and talented players breaking through and rubbing shoulders against the global stars.
The Liverpool no. 67 made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season.
The teenager scored seven goals and gave 11 assists in 31 Championship starts during his loan spell at Blackburn last season.
