According to Football London, Moussa Sissoko was not involved in Tottenham’s training session on Wednesday ahead of tonight’s game.
What’s the story?
Well, the £30m man was absent as Nuno Espirito Santo prepared his players for their first ever UEFA Conference League game.
Spurs take on Paços de Ferreira in Portugal tonight, amid plenty of uncertainty surrounding Sissoko’s future.
It is believed that the 71-cap France international is surplus to requirements under Nuno.
It has also been said that Fabio Paratici – Director of Football in N17 – is now trying to move Sissoko on following Nuno’s decision.
So, the fact he was missing from training – with no mention of an injury – is especially interesting given the rumours surrounding his future.
Tottenham must sell Moussa Sissoko

While Paratici still needs to add one or two more players to Nuno’s squad, it’s also imperative that he offloads Sissoko.
The £80,000-a-week man is far from a vital member of Tottenham’s squad, and he has significant competition ahead of him.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso play in similar roles, while Sissoko also has Harry Winks to deal with.

Intriguingly, Oliver Skipp has also leapfrogged him in the pecking order following a successful season-long loan at Norwich.
Sissoko’s role in Nuno’s squad is not worth £80,000-a-week.
Paratici has impressed in the market so far, so we’re sure the Italian could put such a significant salary towards luring another signing to N17.
