Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly opened discussions with Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko over a potential loan deal.
According to CalcioMercato, the Italian club are eager to sign the France international this window.
As per the report, ‘talks’ have already started between the two parties. Milan believe that Sissoko could be a flexible option for them this summer.
The Milanese side are back in the UEFA Champions League next season for the first time in years. And Stefan Pioli is eager to improve the squad ahead of the club’s return to Europe’s elite club competition.
Moreover, new Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is eager to sell Sissoko this summer as reported by the Sun. The midfielder earns a reported £80,000-a-week and is not guaranteed to start for Spurs next season.
Spurs are proving this summer to be one of the most ambitious sides in the Premier League when it comes to spending.

The north London side have already signed Atalanta duo Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romeo with reports suggesting that Lautaro Martinez is now on Tottenham’s radar.
Indeed, Fabio Paratici has impressed so far in his new role with Spurs. Yet departures still remain somewhat underwhelming for Tottenham. The current market means that plenty of fringe players simply have no buyers.

But Sissoko appears to be a player who has caught the eye of Milan. And with the Italian side willing to negotiate a loan deal, Tottenham could manage to offload the 31-year-old midfielder for the season should the Serie A club strike a deal.
