Neil Lennon has criticised Celtic-owned defender Jack Hendry in The Times amid speculation that Leeds United want him.
The former Celtic manager has outlined what makes him uncertain about Hendry, who is part of the Scotland squad for the Euro 2020 finals.
90min reported earlier this month that Leeds are interested in signing Hendry in the summer transfer widow.
Oostende reportedly plan to make the central defender’s loan deal from Celtic permanent and will then cash in on the 26-year-old this summer.
A transfer fee of £10 million will reportedly be enough.
Lennon wrote about Hendry in The Times: “Jack Hendry scored a great goal against Holland and I think he’s had a decent season but I do worry about him defensively sometimes, switching off and people running off the back of him or getting in crosses from that side.”

Do Leeds United need Jack Hendry?
Lennon is a very good manager who was immensely successful during his two spells at Celtic.
The former Celtic boss is a good judge of footballers. After all, he signed Virgil van Dijk for the Hoops.
Hendry did well during his loan spell in Belgium during the second half of the season.

However, you have to ask whether Leeds need a new centre-back.
Diego Llorente and Robin Koch joined Leeds only last summer.
Pascal Struijk also did well for Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa when he played at the back.
Moreover, there is now speculation that Leeds want White, who had a loan spell at Elland Road from Brighton and Hove Albion in 2019-20.
