One of those players is Jamie McCart. The 19-year-old defender has come through Celtic’s youth academy and is currently out on loan at Scottish Premiership side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Former Celtic striker Andy Walker has predicted big things from the teenager, who played for Celtic against Mothewell in a Scottish League Cup tie earlier in the season.
“Another player I’d mention is Jamie McCart,” Walker told Ladbrokes.com. “He’s on loan at Inverness right now, but he featured against Motherwell for Celtic earlier this season, and he’s another I predict will have a very bright future.”
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has shown this season that he is open to giving young and promising players chances for the first team.

If McCart is able to play well at Inverness during his loan spell, then he could be drafted into the first team for pre-season matches.
Celtic are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 70 points from 24 matches.
The Hoops are 27 points clear of second-placed Aberdeen and Rangers, who are currently second and third respectively in the standings.
