Tottenham Hotspur are expected to mount a sustained title challenge this season.
Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele sat down for an exclusive interview with Sky Sports News, and shared this belief that his team are far stronger than last season, from a psychological aspect, and that he is sure they will go one step further this term, if they are in the mix for the Premier League title towards the business end of the campaign.

The Belgium international has been instrumental for Maurico Pochettino’s men this season, and is widely considered to be the most talented player amongst the Spurs squad.
And Dembele told Sky Sports News how the only way to find out if he and his Tottenham teammates have the stomach for a title fight is for them to be involved in the mix heading into the latter stages of the campaign, much like they were last term, before their monumental collapse during the last few games gifted the title to Leicester City:

“I think if we end up in the same situation, maybe we can do something special compared to last year. It is difficult to tell, but we have this feeling that we can do something of course. I think personally that I and most of us learned from last year. But it’s a difficult thing, you need to be in that situation again to see if we have outgrown that. There is a very good vibe, there’s a difference compared to last year, so yes I think we can do something special in the same situation.”

The Lilywhites have a fantastic opportunity to gain ground on those around them in the table tomorrow, with a home game against Middlesbrough, whilst Chelsea and Arsenal square off at Stamford Bridge.
