West Bromwich Albion have struggled to secure deals for some of their prime transfer targets again this month.
Speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference, Baggies boss Tony Pulis provided an update on his side’s potential transfer business, broadcast on Sky Sports on January 30th at 9:07 am.
Berahino’s final message for West Brom fans
West Brom currently sit in eighth position in the Premier League table, and have far exceeded expectations, after an underwhelming performance as far as player recruitment is concerned during the summer transfer window.

Pulis has once again struggled to bring the payers he wanted into the Hawthorns this month, and he spoke to the media about the possibility of adding to his squad during the last two days of the window, as quoted by Sky Sports:
“That’s a definite no [Ivanovic], and there were others. Callum Wilson and people like that. I was told he might be available, so I rang the manager up [Eddie Howe] he said no, so I’ve not pursued it since.”

He then responded to a question asking if West Brom will spend any money before the window slams shut:
“No I don’t think we will, if we can get a couple of loans in short-term then we’ll do that, but apart from that, I can’t see us spending any money.”

Baggies fans will surely not be happy with Pulis’ latest comments, with it being quite clear for all to see that the West Brom squad is in need of reinforcements.
But if they manage to stay inside the top half of the table until the end of the season, it will surely be considered a fantastic achievement nevertheless.
