Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya liked Fabrizio Romano’s Instagram post which stated that Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are pushing to sign Barcelona star, Ansu Fati.

At one stage, it looked like Tottenham, who were knocked out of the EFL Cup on Tuesday, were going to get their man, but that’s when Brighton swopped in.

With Ansu Fati heading to the Premier League ahead of a season-long loan, it seems as though he will be joining Brighton, instead of Spurs after a late twist on Wednesday night.

But as Fati arrives in England, it seems as though Spurs aren’t letting up because the latest from Sky Sports is that they still want to sign the Barcelona star and they aren’t giving up.

Either way, as you would expect, during these final days of the 2023 summer transfer window, things are chaotic and will only get louder as that Friday deadline edges closer.

Nonetheless, when transfer expert Romano posted the below message on Instagram about Fati-Tottenham, it was liked by Arsenal keeper, David Raya – the Spain international is on-loan at the Emirates from Brentford and he was a target of Spurs before the two clubs couldn’t agree on a transfer fee.

It can change by the hour, but it seems as though Brighton and Roberto De Zerbi are going to get their man, who would be a top, top signing for the Europa League side because he is an ‘extraordinary’ player, as described by his Barcelona boss, Xavi.

The 20-year-old, since bursting onto the scene as a teenager, has hit a bit of a stumbling block of late and he needs picking up.

Whether it’s De Zerbi or Postecoglou, both would be very good managers for the youngster because, alongside the attacking systems that they play, they are also high-quality man-managers.
