Tottenham target Hakim Ziyech received attention from BBC Sport earlier today as he impressed for Morocco against Croatia at the World Cup.
The Chelsea forward – who Algemeen Dagblad believe is wanted by Spurs – returned to the international scene with a stunning goal in a World Cup warmup friendly against Georgia, netting from inside his own half.
That seems to have given Ziyech plenty of confidence, as he shone for Morocco against 2018 finalists Croatia.
Tottenham target Ziyech impresses at World Cup
Well, 90min believe Chelsea want to sell the 29-year-old in January.
If that is true, then the Blues will be pleased to see their No.22 putting himself in the shop window over in Qatar.
Writing on their live blog during Morocco’s clash with Croatia, BBC Sport‘s Gary Rose put: “Hakim Ziyech is making the most of his return to the Morocco team. Their most dangerous moments are going through him and although his floated cross into the box doesn’t quite come off, it was the right idea.”

The Morocco star has struggled for playing time at Stamford Bridge this season under both Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, making just one start in the Premier League.
Despite that, Ziyech is showing no signs of rustiness at the World Cup so far.
Tottenham should snap up Ziyech
If Chelsea agree to let Ziyech go for a reasonable price in January, something in the region of a £20m fee, then Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici should jump at the opportunity.
The Morocco international definitely seems like the type of profile being targeted by Spurs, with The Times claiming that Conte wants a similar winger to Dejan Kulusevski.
Both Ziyech and the Sweden international are left-footed forwards who cut in from the right, and they also both possess exquisite technical ability, so it’s a move we can certainly see happening.
Be sure to keep an eye on the Chelsea misfit in Qatar, as more strong performances could be enough to see Tottenham submit a bid in January.
