How Arsenal would love to beat Chelsea to a player now.
Last week, the West Londoners pipped Mikel Arteta’s side to the signing of Mykhaylo Mudryk.
At the time, Mudryk looked destined to join Arsenal and had thrown out one or two or 25 Instagram hints that he wanted to join the Gunners.
So when he wound up at Chelsea, it must’ve hurt.
Problem is, for the Blues, Arsenal could potentially get their own back.

According to Fabrizio Romano this morning [Caught Offside via HITC Sport], Moises Caicedo is aware of the Gunners’ interest in him and the Italian journalist didn’t rule out the North Londoners making a late attempt.
Chelsea have to be winning the race to sign the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder.
They’ve been the only club consistently linked with signing him throughout January.
But if Arsenal were to sneak in and sign the Ecuador international it may soften the blow of seeing Mudryk join their bitter London rivals.
Okay so it might not be the exact same, but Arteta’s side were the only ones really chasing Mudryk for a long time.
Mudryk for Arsenal is what Caicedo is for Chelsea now.
And should he wind up at the Emirates Stadium, there will be an element of revenge for those on the red part of the capital.
