Chelsea will not sell Levi Colwill in the summer transfer window amid reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffSide that Chelsea do not plan to cash in on Colwill at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old English central defender is on loan at Brighton and Hove Albion at the moment.
Colwill is scheduled to return to his parent club Chelsea at the end of the season.
Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with the England Under-21 international.
Goal reported in March that Liverpool are looking to sign a new centre-back in the summer transfer window and have identified Colwill as a possible target.
The Sun reported this month that Colwill is being monitored by Tottenham as a potential transfer target.
Chelsea stance on Liverpool and Tottenham target Levi Colwill

Romano said, as relayed by Empire of the Kop: “I’m sure it is not just Liverpool but many top clubs around the world and not just in England are following Levi Colwill, he’s an excellent talent.
“We will always have this kind of news on him because it’s normal to follow Colwill.
“But again, at this stage, Chelsea consider him as key part of the squad next season and have no intention to let him go.”
HITC Verdict: Summer transfer unlikely
In our view, Chelsea are not going to sell Levi Colwill in the summer transfer window, even if Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool would love to sign him.
After all, the centre-back is only 20.
And, as reported by The Telegraph, Mauricio Pochettino is about to become the new head coach of Chelsea.
And we know from his time at Tottenham that the Argentine loves working with young players and actually improves them.
Chelsea will surely want to give Colwill a chance in the first team next season.
