Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko has sent a 4-word message to Takehiro Tomiyasu after the extent of his injury was confirmed.
According to the official club website, the 24-year-old has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after sustaining a serious knee injury. This comes as devastating news for both the Gunners and the player, who was spotted in crutches after his side’s loss to Sporting CP.
Now, Oleksandr Zinchenko has reached out to Takehiro Tomiyasu after the injury news has come to the surface.
Zinchenko sends message to Tomiyasu after injury news
The Japanese international was likely to play a major role until the end of the campaign, particularly in a starting capacity due to a back injury set to keep William Saliba out of action for a number of weeks.

It seemed as if Ben White would finally operate in his natural centre-back position, giving Tomiyasu the chance to reclaim his spot at right-back.
Unfortunately for Takehiro Tomiyasu, a lengthy injury problem had other plans in store for him, as Oleksandr Zinchenko has now sent him a message on Instagram, as shared by Arsenal Buzz.
“Come back stronger, brother”, he said.
Tomiyasu would be justified in feeling hard done
After cementing his place in the Arsenal side during his debut campaign, the former Bologna defender has been reduced to being a squad player this term due to Ben White’s excellent form.
And now that Takehiro Tomiyasu seemed like he could finally prove to Mikel Arteta why he should start week in, week out, an injury stopped him in his tracks, as Oleksandr Zinchenko asked him to keep his head up.
All Tomiyasu can do now is recover well, lend support to his teammates during their title charge and come back stronger, as his sights would be set on becoming a starter next season.
