Kai Havertz is starting to find some form for Arsenal!

There have been many critics of the ex-Chelsea man, even by Arsenal supporters themselves, but all of that is slowly starting to change.

On Sunday, as Arsenal beat Brighton 2-0 to move to the top of the Premier League table, Kai Havertz scored his fourth goal since November for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Paul Scholes thinks he is now starting to ‘find some form’ as he praised his efforts from the weekend, as he told Premier League Productions (17/12/23 at 4:05 pm).

You could argue when Eddie Nketiah put Kai Havertz through on goal, that’s a chance he probably would have missed in September.

Remember, it wasn’t so long ago that he was shooting at thin air from point-blank range when trying to have a shot at goal, but a lot has now changed.

Not only are the performances going up a level, but he is now starting to showcase goalscoring prowess.

Those goals are valuable to Arsenal because there is a lot of talk about another striker needing to come in during the January transfer window, but Kai Havertz is helping lift that pressure.

Kai Havertz’s form for Arsenal

“Havertz seems to have found a bit of form,” said Scholes.

“You really fancy him going through there. A really good pass from Nketiah as well. The timing is perfect. Great run. Holds his run well and finishes it in that far corner.”

Arsenal have another level to go

Sitting top of the table ahead of a trip to Anfield, this is where things start to become very, very serious for Arsenal.

You get the feeling that they have another level to go and they can reach that by beating Liverpool on Saturday.

Look, there will still be a lot of football to be played, but winning in the backyard of your title rivals is a statement in itself.

And if someone like Havertz can produce another strong performance, then it will only further boost his already-growing confidence.
