Euro 2024 might be taking centre stage, but it isn’t stopping Arsenal from trying to recruit some of the best talent ahead of the new season.

Arsenal narrowly missed out on the Premier League title last term and many believe that they need just that little bit more to get the job done.
Last summer, the Gunners secured the transfer of Declan Rice in a club-record deal from West Ham United and he helped raise the team’s quality.
Perhaps Arsenal need to do that again and their answer lies with a player who is currently bossing teams around at Euro 2024.
Spain have been one of the standout teams at this summer’s European Championships and the best player has probably been Nico Williams.
Sources have told HITC that Arsenal want to sign the Athletic Club star, who was described as ‘fearless’ by Andros Townsend.
The Luton Town player added that Williams is ‘so aggressive’ in his play and he is ‘causing havoc’ at the Euros, as he told ITV Sport.
Lead commentator Seb Hutchinson added by saying that Williams is a man who many are ‘expecting’ to leave this summer.

“Great wing play, so aggressive, so fearless,” said Townsend. “Always looking to drive. One v One. One v Two, not a problem. He creates havoc.”
Commentator Seb Hutchinson added: “An expectation that he will leave Athletic Club this season, Nico Williams.”

It would be utterly devastating and he would elevate their quality in the final third, as well as add some serious depth.
Fans might say that Arsenal have the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard fighting for those spots.

But just like their title rivals Manchester City, if a player like Williams arrives, then you start to have more than one quality player for each position.
Arteta is used to making these ruthless calls. He did so with Aaron Ramsdale and David Raya, so there’s no reason why he can’t do it with another Spanish star.
