Tottenham Hotspur have fought off competition from Premier League rivals Aston Villa and West Ham United for former Fulham loanee Manor Solomon.
That is according to the Israel international’s representative, Shlomi Ben Ezra speaking to Sport5.
After Tottenham Hotspur reached a ‘breakthrough’ in discussions with the 23-year-old’s camp, Manor Solomon is set to undergo a medical this week; a return to London now only a matter of days away.

Spurs, Ben Ezra adds, have also beaten two top-flight rivals to the winger’s signature.
“In addition to Tottenham, Aston Villa, West Ham, and RB Leipzig wanted him,” Ben Ezra tells Sport5, explaining that the Bundesliga giants had identified Solomon ‘as a replacement’ for the Chelsea-bound Christopher Nkunku.
“But if you leave the Premier League, you can’t always return to it.”
Tottenham set to sign Manor Solomon this week
Solomon will leave parent club Shakhtar Donetsk for free, despite having another six months left on his contract – much to the frustration of CEO Sergei Palkin.
“I contacted Solomon and his agent and invited him back to our club,” Palkin told ESPN last month, feeling his side have been sold down the river by FIFA stipulations allowing players to leave Ukraine for free following the Russian invasion.
“I said; ‘you can play all the games in the Champions League. You will be in the starting eleven’. But he doesn’t want to (return). I believe he will stay in England.”
“In any case, if he goes to Tottenham, we will deal with Tottenham in court in this case. Everything comes to a simple situation; it sounds like unjust (move).
“Can you imagine, we pay big money for this player and finally Tottenham receives him for free? It is not fair in respect of our club. We will definitely go to court and we will fight for ourselves.”

Solomon will officially become the third signing of the Ange Postecoglou era at Spurs, joining James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, are continuing their pursuit of a new winger. After missing out on Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams too, Unai Emery’s upwardly-mobile side could turn their attention to Barcelona benchwarmer Ferran Torres.
