Liverpool target Endrick is currently on a tour of Europe as an exit from Palmeiras looms, with a trip to Real Madrid now set to follow his Chelsea visit.

It was The Times who revealed that the 16-year-old wonderkid met up with Todd Boehly for talks in west London, where he was also introduced to his fellow Brazilian Thiago Silva.

Liverpool’s interest is mentioned in that story, although Endrick’s father Douglas Ramos has now provided an update which somewhat comes as a blow to Jürgen Klopp’s hopes of signing the Brazilian sensation.

Liverpool target set to visit Real Madrid

Well, Douglas Ramos has told UOL that he and his son will travel to the Santiago Bernabeu for talks with Real Madrid at the end of November, before deciding whether to invite the Spanish giants to make an offer.

Endrick’s father said: “We will travel to Madrid at the end of this month. After that conversation in Madrid, Real Madrid will await a response from us to see if they should come to Sao Paulo and make an offer to Palmeiras.”

Providing Real Madrid portray themselves as an attractive destination, it seems things could move quickly.

Los Blancos have already successfully lured some of Brazil’s greatest talents to Spain, such as Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Reiner, so we see no reason why things would go badly when Endrick visits this month.

Furthermore, the price shouldn’t be an issue.

Marca believe Palmeiras want €40m (£35m) for their No.16 – a sum Real Madrid can quite easily afford.

Liverpool slipping behind in Endrick race

In our view, Liverpool will find it difficult to sign Endrick now.

The Reds are yet to meet up with the teenage wonderkid – as far as the media are aware – and do not seem to be in a position to genuinely challenge some of the wealthiest clubs on the planet.

Additionally, Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are looking to sell the Reds.

While Ben Jacobs of CBS Sports has claimed that money is there for Klopp to spend in the next two windows, it feels unlikely that FSG will go over budget to outbid Chelsea and Real Madrid for a 16-year-old, especially as funds must be spent on improving the midfield.

Nevertheless, anything can happen in football, so be sure to keep an eye on the situation.
