Fabio Paratici reportedly wanted to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma for Tottenham Hotspur, and now he watched him win the Ballon d’Or Yashin Trophy last night.
Tottenham interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma
Sky Italia reported in June that Tottenham were looking into the possibility of signing Donnarumma on a free transfer.
The Italy international goalkeeper was leaving AC Milan.
And Paratici, the managing director of football at Spurs, wanted him.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
However, the 22-year-old eventually joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
Tottenham subsequently signed Pierluigi Gollini on loan from Italian Atalanta.

Gianluigi Donnarumma wins Ballon d’Or Yashin Trophy
But it is Donnarumma who has been adjudged as the best goalkeeper in the world by France Football.
The PSG goalkeeper, who earns £196,000 per week as salary (Foot Mercato), has won the Ballon d’Or Yashin Trophy ahead of Chelsea star Edouard Mendy.
Donnarumma helped Milan finish in the top four of Serie A last season and then won Euro 2020 with Italy in the summer.
Things are not going exactly well for Donnarumma at PSG, as he is having to fight for a place in Mauricio Pochettino’s team with Keylor Navas.
