Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has spoken out about what life is like at Leicester City under recently-appointed manager, Enzo Maresca.
Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has lifted the lid on the impact new boss Enzo Maresca has already had at the King Power stadium since his appointment just one month ago.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Dewsbury-Hall said: “we’ve not even been working with [Maresca] for two weeks and we already feel like we’ve learned so much. You’ll see that he lives and breathes the game, and we’re learning a completely different style of play…you’ll see in the coming weeks that we work very well together…I feel like the Manager is going to instil that winning confidence into us.”
This job marks Maresca’s first in English football management, after he left his post as one of Pep Guardiola’s assistants at Manchester City. It’s same route to a head coaching role as was taken by Mikel Arteta, and if Maresca can emulate the Arsenal boss’ success then Leicester will be in good hands.
Foxes fans will certainly be hoping he can do better than he did with Parma, at least. Maresca was sacked by the Italian club after just six months in the role. However, there seems to be plenty of positivity around the new manager even at this very early stage in his Leicester career.

Maresca looking for goals from midfield
Getting the best out of Dewsbury-Hall will be key for Maresca. With James Maddison and Youri Tielemans having left, the 24-year-old will be more crucial than ever in the middle of the park for Leicester. This is also a part of the pitch the manager will be keen to add to.
The Leicester academy product also stated that, “the Manager has been telling me to get into the box, and get on the end of the crosses.” If Maresca can unlock Dewsbury-Hall’s goalscoring capabilities, then the player will be able to play a huge role in potentially firing the club straight back up to the Premier League.
