Rangers and Celtic are once again the subject of an unfavourable EPL comparison

There isn’t much that can bring fans of Celtic and Rangers together, particularly in the aftermath of a typically controversial derby.
After days of debate about Bobby Madden, Alfredo Morelos, Nir Bitton, Shane Duffy and Diego Laxalt’s braids, however, supporters have found a common purpose.
Nothing can unite Scottish football fans quite like our game being patronised by English pundits, and that was the case on Thursday morning when former Blackpool and Gillingham man Jamie O’Hara suggested the pair would struggle to survive in the English Premier League.
He also suggested that Fulham would win the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking on talkSPORT, O’Hara said: “In terms of the quality, I still don’t fink it’s anywhere near the Premier League.
“I fink both teams would struggle to stay in the Premier League in my opinion.
“I fink Fulham would win the league in Scotland.
“I fink they’d win the league. Look, I played with (Moussa) Dembele, who left Fulham, went to Celtic and he was good at Fulham in the Championship, he was decent, scored some goals.
“He went to Celtic and he was unbelievable.”
Those comments have gone down about as well as you would expect, with fans of Scotland’s two biggest clubs both having plenty to say on the matter.
Celtic, who beat Lazio home and away in last season’s Europa League, are 19 points behind Rangers following their 1-0 derby defeat at Ibrox on Saturday.
Steven Gerrard’s side topped their Europa League group in December with four wins and two draws against Benfica, Standard Liege and Lech Poznan.
O’Hara recently left his position as player-manager at Billericay Town.
