Tottenham Hotspur have produced some serious talent from their academy over the years.
You don’t even have to look at their academy, a number of young stars, over the decade, have either come through the system or signed as unknown figures and turned into superstars.
Harry Kane and Dele Alli are two more recent examples and Tottenham fans would just love to have those players under Ange Postecoglou now.
The Greek-born Australian took charge of Spurs last summer after they finished eighth in the Premier League and were going backwards in every aspect.
But he guided them to a fifth-placed finish, including progressing the style of play and the academy would have also caught his eye.
During the final few weeks of the season, as Tottenham were pushing for Champions League football, but ultimately lost out on that battle to Aston Villa, a certain Mikey Moore was making headlines.
Fans have been excited by what the 16-year-old has been producing in the academy and he was handed his Premier League debut during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Moore has taken that confidence and transcended it onto the international stage because he has been cooking for the England U17s at the European Championships.
He scored a brilliant curling effort as the England youngsters defeated Spain 3-1 on Monday to set up a quarter-final clash against Italy.
Graham Roberts reacted as footage emerged of the rising star on Twitter by simply telling him ‘you have a bright future’.

You wonder what plans Postecoglou has for Moore next season because he is starting to excite fans with his raw ability.
Moore should probably be part of Tottenham’s pre-season tour this summer and that experience itself will do him the world of good.

It’s probably too early for a loan spell in the lower leagues and he might make a few appearances on the Tottenham bench next season.
But it’s further proof that Spurs are still bringing through top talent – and Kane is the benchmark given what he produced.
