Some West Ham fans on social media have been reacting to news that Lukasz Fabianski has signed a new contract with the club.

The Polish goalkeeper has been one of the Hammers’ most consistent performers in recent years, and he’s once again played an important role in the London club’s push for European qualification this term.

His strong performances have been rewarded with a new deal, signing a one-year extension to his previous contract, meaning that he’ll be staying at the club until 2022.

It wasn’t too long ago that Hammers fans were singling Fabianski out as a player who needs replacing this summer, but it seems as though they’re now over the moon with the fact he’s going to be staying for an extra season.

Hopefully, Fabianski gets to enjoy a bit of European football next term as West Ham continue to bang on the door of the top four.

Here’s what Hammers supporters have been saying about this announcement on social media…
