Some West Ham fans on social media have been crying out for a replacement for Lukasz Fabianski to be signed this summer.

The Polish goalkeeper has been a fantastic servant for the Hammers in recent years, but there’s no denying the fact that he’s getting older, and the fanbase believe that it’s about time they started planning for the future between the sticks.

Now, that isn’t to say that Fabianski hasn’t played well this season. In fact, a lot of supporters had a lot of praise for him, but they feel that his age is becoming a problem and that he needs replacing.

The sad reality of football is that players do decline when they get into their advancing years, and far too often West Ham have been too slow to act on these instances.

Fans want to see a new keeper brought in this summer, but whether or not the club act on these pleas remain to be seen.

Here’s what West Ham supporters have been saying on social media…
